Digipack, Magazine Advertisment and their Importance

The magazine advert is an advert made for the music video that will then be mimicked in design for the digipack to ensure the audience make the link between the two and buy the correct product. The magazine promotes the song/single or in some cases an entire album.

A digipack is a small folder type product made to hold a CD, usually made for various artists and sold to the general public for consumption of the music. The digipack will be designed in a similar fashion to the magazine advert.

The magazine and digipack play an important part in drawing in the target audience. They must relate to the genre and be eye-catching enough to pull in attention.
